Product manager
Sensonomic develops software services to solve one of our most pressing challenges: how to make global food production more sustainable. We are doing this to achieve resilient food systems; profitable production, and future-proof farming.
We are working with development agencies, international partners, and large commercial corporations. We are currently involved in exciting projects in Africa, Asia, and the South Pacific, and we have a research collaboration with the University of Oxford.
Our values are to be curious, constructive, and compelling. We are now hiring exceptional, new colleagues at our Oslo office.
Do you want to solve wicked problems?
We need to produce 70 % more food by 2050 without increasing resource input. New technology can solve parts of this difficult challenge, and through Sensonomic you will bring the latest in computational simulation to a market in serious need of what we are developing.
Our new product manager will be an integral part of making our products attractive and user friendly. You will spend your time with new and existing customers, challenging their ideas and exploring with them, so our developers can create products our clients cannot say no to.
You are energised by working with people, and have an interest in uncovering and unraveling complex problems. You are proficient in formulating and selling solutions, both internally and to our clients. We hope that you can uncover real client pains in a rapid and compelling manner, and that you are always curious to discover more.
Our working language is English and proficiency in additional languages is a plus, as is an interest in and understanding of solving problems with technology. Travel is required and expected, and we promise that with us you will see parts of the world you would otherwise likely not think to visit.
As our new employee you will be working with accomplished and talented developers who will build cutting-edge solutions for agriculture based on leading expertise in computational simulation, machine learning, earth observation and geospatial analysis.
You will enjoy a flexible work situation, competitive remuneration, and office space in a very attractive location in central Oslo. You will also be offered participation in the company’s option pool. We expect you to hold an advanced degree and have experience in product development.
The position will be reporting to the CEO.
